Altman is set to be one of the final witnesses in the trial, which has pitted two of the tech industry\u2019s most powerful men against each other in a dramatic courtroom showdown.<\/p>\n<p>Musk has accused Altman and OpenAI of breaking the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/technology\/artificialintelligenceai\">AI<\/a> firm\u2019s founding agreement by restructuring it into a for-profit enterprise, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/technology\/2026\/apr\/30\/openai-founding-trial-elon-musk-sam-altman\">alleging that Altman essentially swindled him<\/a> into co-founding the company and providing tens of millions in financial backing.
