  1. The NTSB finding that someone manually pushed the nose down after the autopilot was disengaged is chilling—either pilot suicide or a struggle for control.

  2. I knew there were rumors about a deliberate act, but the report saying the flight data recorder showed manual inputs to dive really confirms something went terribly wrong in that cockpit.

  4. If the co-pilot was locked out as some reports suggest, why didn’t the other pilot override? The NTSB needs to clarify the crew’s training on handling such emergencies.
