  1. I can’t believe they still can’t agree on whether that 1937 carcass was a weird shark or something unknown. With all our tech, we still don’t know what’s in our own oceans.

  2. The fact that it had a dog-like head and horse tail sounds like something out of a myth. Maybe it really was a sea monster—after all, sperm whales eat giant squid we barely understand.

  3. Cross-party cooperation on select issues would actually restore some faith in the system. (9824f9)

  4. Interesting that it was found inside a sperm whale’s stomach. If it was just a basking shark, why would a whale eat something that’s mostly cartilage and not very nutritious?
