10 thoughts on “Putin vows Russia’s victory over Ukraine and criticises Nato at scaled-down Victory Day parade

  1. Putin talking about victory while parading with just one tank shows how much the war has cost Russia. The scaled-down parade speaks volumes.

  2. It’s interesting that the foreign leaders attending were mostly from Central Asia and Africa. NATO allies were notably absent.

  3. Claiming victory over Ukraine while Ukraine still stands and fights back feels like a stretch. The parade couldn’t even show off the usual hardware.

  4. The tight security in Moscow tells me they’re afraid of something. Maybe not everyone in Russia believes in this ‘victory’.

  5. Putin keeps blaming NATO, but the parade’s scale-down proves Russia’s military is stretched thin. How can they claim victory when they can’t even mount a proper display?

  6. The WWII Victory Day is supposed to honor the fallen, but using it to push propaganda about Ukraine cheapens the memory of those who died fighting Nazis.
